About Michael Ricupito

With a talented staff dedicated to gentle, efficient care, Dr. Michael Ricupito takes an individualized approach to each case and works to create a beautiful smile for every patient. Together with his team, Dr. Ricupito regularly attends continuing education courses and seminars to stay abreast of the latest techniques and technologies. He also ensures that each staff member has years of experience in this specialized area of dentistry.

Dr. Michael Ricupito is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and belongs to a number of professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, the Craniomandibular Institute, and the California Dental Association. Over the course of his career, Dr. Ricupito has held leadership positions in several of these organizations.

Raised in Fremont, California, Dr. Michael Ricupito has strong roots in the Bay Area. He attended San Jose State University, where he was a member of both the football and baseball teams. After earning his Bachelor of Arts with distinction, Dr. Ricupito enrolled in the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. In 1983, he graduated with honors, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery.

After several years serving as an instructor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and as a general dentist, he decided to specialize in orthodontics. Dr. Michael Ricupito began studies at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where he eventually completed his Master of Science in Oral Biology and a Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics through an American Dental Association-accredited program.
